“You bring me a letter of acceptance to a Catholic school for your child, and I promise your child will attend Catholic school.” This is the promise Father Mark Hamlet, BA ’68 MBA ’70, makes to his congregation at every Mass. The pastor of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Austin, Hamlet has spent much of his ministry advocating for Catholic school education through his nonprofit foundation, Our Kids at Heart.

October 11 – 14, 2018

The alumni from the class of 1968 seated dinner on Friday October 12, 2018 to celebrate the Golden Crusaders 50^th Class Reunion. On Sunday October 14,2018 the farewell Mass was celebrated with Fr. Mark Hamlet, alumni from the Class 1968.

OKAH Students Accepted to Colleges

Our Kids at Heart supports 3 Sacred Heart parish students in Grade 12 along with 32 more in lower grades attending San Juan Diego Catholic High School and they are already accepted at Saint Mary Catholic University from San Antonio, UTSA, and other colleges.

Our Kids at Heart was a Bronze sponsor of Saint Mary Cathedral Gala on Saturday April 14th, 2018. Our Kids at Heart supports the tuition of 107 Sacred Heart parish students at Cathedral School of St. Mary.
