


On August 21 there was a Mass of Reception of the Discipulos de Jesus with Bishop Joe Vasquez. It was also the celebration of the 5th anniversary of the arrival of the sisters, Discipulas de Jesus. The Mother Superior and Father Superior of the respective orders were there to celebrate. This is Sacred Heart Parish today, a permanent staff, five sisters and three brothers (2 priests and a brother), Discipulos de Jesus. The community will get to experience the fullness of the Church.
Kevin just graduated from San Juan Diego High School, one of our partner schools. He will be attending the University of Dallas in the fall. Catholic education transforms the lives of the children in our program. Thank you to all who made it possible!
We find ourselves reflecting on the effects of this pandemic affecting our communities, and yet we find joy and hope in the Resurrection of the Lord.
